Vaper’s tongue is when you can’t taste the flavour of your eJuice you’re vaping. Quite often it comes from vaping the one flavour too much and your taste buds and smell receptors get over saturated with that flavour and decide its time for a break. It isn’t a medical condition and will take a few day’s or so, to pass.
What can I do?
Firstly don’t panic, it’s perfectly normal and it will go away.
Keep yourself hydrated, as PG & VG have a dehydrating effect on the body you’ll need to keep the water intake up.
Try vaping a different flavour from your ADV. Possibly a stronger taste might help kick those pesky taste buds back into gear. Strong fruits or menthols might help.
Try smelling coffee beans, not sure what it does but many people who have had vaper’s tongue have commented that it can help, and who doesn’t like the smell of ground coffee.
Mouthwash and scrubbing your tongue when you brush has also been mentioned many times for a cure.
Try vaping unflavoured eLiquid, I mean, you can’t taste anything anyway so why waste the good flavoured juice when unflavoured will still give you the vaping experience.
As frustrating as it is, the best sure fire way for vaper’s tongue to go away is……. Time.
